Sunway Idea Dropbox is a bottom-up innovation platform for all Sunwayians (students of Sunway Education Group and staff of Sunway Business Units) to contribute ideas that bring positive impact to Sunway Cities and the 13 business units of Sunway Group. The ideas will be used to on establish smarter, more sustainable Sunway Cities, and overcome the challenges put forth by the respective Sunway Business Units. 
 
We believe that innovative ideas can come from anyone, regardless of rank or affiliation. Any Sunwayian can make a difference starting today. 

You will get to be part of our dynamic innovation ecosystem and learn the tools to launch & commercialise your innovative idea. In addition, Sunway Idea Dropbox empowers your career progression by showcasing your talents (with 1-1 coaching or mentoring) and enriches your personal development with new skillsets such as design thinking and developing a growth mindset to overcome challenges.

All ideas are welcome, be it big or small. We want to hear your thoughts on building a better Sunway together! 

Your ideas will be included as part of your annual KPI. Hence, you will be able to utilise your working hours to work on and bring your ideas to life! 

We provide structural support that includes, but is not limited to: project funding (internal funding, Sunway Innovation Matching Fund), project resources (expertise, co-creation with our network of Sunway University affiliates and external partners), 1-1 coaching and mentoring from the management team. You will also be awarded the opportunity to work on your ideas as part of your annual key performance index!

You should include the following in your pitch deck; 

• Team introduction 
• What problem are you solving? How many people needs this problem solved? 

• Your proposed solution 
•  What are the benefits/ advantages of your solution? 
• How would your solution benefit the future of Sunway Cities? 
• How does your solution work? What does your solution do?  
• Uniqueness of your solution – Is there any similar solution in the market? Who are your key competitors? How do you differentiate from your competitors?  
• How would you like to bring your idea to life? How would you like to implement your idea and what are the resources or supports that are needed?

Of course, you can! We believe ideas can come from anyone and anywhere within the Sunway organization. 

The reward system, also known as the “Innovation League”, is a tiered reward system whereby the further you develop your idea with us, the more rewards you will able to unlock. 
 
Upon completion of each Sunway Idea Dropbox milestone, you will be eligible for the following reward tier. The rewards within each tier differ according to the participating Business Units, so do check with your respective representatives in the Sunway Idea Dropbox Committee to know more details.
